Veteran’s Day Celebration

Bill Quehrn, AZCAF representative of Airbase Arizona Flying Museum, will feature a narrated video review of “World War II The Home Front” which is the story of the amazing accomplishments of Americans left behind by the troops. Their efforts won the Manufacturing Victory and sealed their designation as The Greatest Generation. It’s not a typical Veterans Day presentation but it does tell the story in keeping with the museum mission of recalling important American history. This program does note that it was the combat veterans who won WWII. But the two-front world war was unlike anything this nation had ever experienced and it took an astounding effort on the part of the home folks to bear the extraordinary burdens and produce the products that contributed mightily to the victory. This is a presentation you don’t want to miss. It is loaded with historical and inspiring information. After the presentation we will be serving lunch compliments of ArchWell Health.
