Bill Harrison Presentation “Booze in AZ” and Dinner

There was a time in the Arizona Territory when quality booze wasn’t available in remote mining camps. Thirsty men had to settle for highly potent and nasty-tasting rotgut from a local still. But those times quickly ended. Joining the western migration were creative individuals who not only had the inclination to make fine liquor, but they also had the skills. It wasn’t long before local breweries, distilleries and wineries were supplying saloons with a wide variety of quality libations. When Prohibition ended in 1933, Arizona again began producing quality spirits to help build our state economically, socially, and culturally. Today, we’re proud of our growing, liquor industry. This presentation will introduce you to some of the finest wines, spirits, and beers in the world – and they’re all created right here in Arizona! This is a fascinating and delicious presentation you really don’t want to miss! Before the presentation we will be serving Fried Chicken, Cheesy Potato Casserole, Veggie, & Dessert. Tickets $10.
